As part of Blaidd's questline, the player makes a request for the conclusion of Darriwil's story. As a result, you'll have the option to call upon him whenever you do battle with Darriwil in this area. Once the player has entered the Evergaol proper, and only then, can they call upon his services. He will manifest himself in the form of a golden summon symbol.

You have the option of asking the non-player character Blaidd for help during this encounter. After you have listened to his cry in the Mistwood Ruins, make your way back to the Church of Elleh and inform the merchant there about the howling you heard in the woods. He will demonstrate a hand signal for you to make beneath the tower in order to get Glaidd to descend. After having a conversation with him, you will be able to call him into the fight. You won't be able to miss his calling sign after you've entered the Evergaol.
When you first enter the Evergoal, you will find the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil waiting for you there. Check out his page for some remarks and advice on fighting. You must defeat him in order to obtain Bloodhound's Fang.
In the event that this location retains its unpredictability after Blaidd has joined Ranni's service, he will become mired in it. It's possible that you'll hear howling in the area. As soon as you get closer to the heart of the evergaol, he will start talking to you. After that, a request to open the evergaol will be displayed.
