Crimson Amber Medallion is one of Elden Ring Talismans that raises one's maximum HP pool by 6%. Its upgraded variants can boost the HP stat by 7% and 8%.
The Crimson Amber Medallion boosts maximum HP by 6%. Two upgraded versions of this Talisman boost HP by 7% and 8%. These values may not seem useful, but using them before the soft cap of 60 Vigor will boost Health significantly. Tarnished builds with Vigor 55 can equip the Crimson Amber Medallion to increase their maximum health from 1814 to 1950—13 levels. Any game will eventually make maximum health points irrelevant. These upgrades can stop certain enemy attacks from killing a player in one or two shots.
The Nomadic Merchant of the Weeping Peninsula sells the Talisman for 1,500 Runes, allowing Elden Ring players to quickly obtain the base Crimson Amber Medallion. This NPC drops the Nightrider Flail and Ash of War: Barricade Shield near the Night's Cavalry spawn point. Tarnished explorers can find this NPC near the Site of Grace on Castle Morne Rampart.
A single player's run through Elden Ring unlocks the Crimson Amber Medallion +1 later than the standard variant. Tarnished must access the exterior of Volcano Manor, the massive estate on Mt. Gelmir on the Altus Plateau, to get the +1 version. Players who join the manor's clan and receive the Drawing-Room Key from Headmistress Tanith can access this outdoor area. The drawing room unlocks this.
How to Get All Crimson Amber Medallions
From Prison Town Church Grace, cross the rooftops to reach the western manor ruins. Tarnished travelers will pass an Imp Statue Seal-locked tower on their way to the Guest Hall. Stonesword users can enter the tower's dungeon. The Crimson Amber Medallion +1 is on a corpse hanging from the upper level's wooden platform. Beware the zombie horde and Abductor Virgin inside the structure.
Tarnished must cause the global event that makes Leyndell the Ashen Capital to get the Elden Ring Crimson Amber Medallion +2. This must happen while Leyndell burns. After Crumbling Farum Azula, Maliketh dies. Following the enormous chasm southwest of the Site of Grace in Leyndell, Ash's capital, leads to the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds. Carefully descend onto the platforms below to reach a wooden beam overlooking the Underground Roadside. Tarnished finds the Crimson Amber Medallion +2 and a corpse hanging from a tree.
